Cryopreservation, longevity research and advanced biological analysis. Bringing more of life’s possibilities within reach.
Explore our researchOur research agenda connects the biology of ageing with the challenges of cryopreservation. Protecting complex tissue. Understanding damage. Investigating what it would take to restore function.
Better preservation begins with understanding what must survive: cells, tissues and the fine biological structures that make each person who they are.
How do cells lose function with age? How might that function be recovered? Our interests span cellular damage, epigenetic change and the biology of rejuvenation.
Future revival will require advances in safe rewarming, biological repair and the restoration of complex function. For people already in cryopreservation, these are questions to pursue today.
We are developing UK laboratories for advanced sequencing, molecular profiling and the study of ageing. Bringing the detail of individual samples into a fuller understanding of preservation and repair.
From the information within a cell
to the possibility of a longer human life.
Cryopreservation and longevity research,
connected by a deeper understanding of biology.
